Blue Chip Talent is thrilled to welcome the newest member to our flourishing list of professional athletes;Steven De Waard.
Steven, 26, is a young tennis pro who made the transition into doubles tennisjust 12 months ago.
The career move has quickly reaped rewards with Steven now being ranked 129th in the world.
Recently on tour in Canada, after a successful first match Steven required an emergency appendectomy.
The surgery was a success and Steven will be making his return back on tour in Taiwan in early October, 2017.
Although a setback, the experience has highlighted Steven’s unwaivering determination and undeniable love for the game.
“Sometimes life throws curveballs at you and you can either let them tear you down or you can use them to motivate you to work harder, every single day”, said Steven.
With such confidence, commitment and continuously evolving skills, Steven is one to watch in the world of tennis.
Originally from Brisbane, Steven has since relocated to Melbourne to focus on his career and development in his newly acquired forte as a doubles player.
There’s no denying that the best is yet to come for this tennis gun.
