Ella Nelson is a former Australian sprinter who specialized in the 200 meters. Based in Sydney, she represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where she ran a personal best of 22.50 seconds in the semi-finals, narrowly missing the final by just 0.01 seconds.
She was a three-time Australian 200m champion (2014, 2015, 2016) and ranked as the sixth-fastest Australian over the distance. She also competed in the Commonwealth Games and multiple World Championships before announcing her retirement from professional athletics in January 2021.
